A graduate of Missouri State University, Emily is a proud South Florida transplant invested in improving the lives of children and young adults in the local community. Emily is a pediatric speech-language pathologist certified in clinical competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She has an additional Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University and prides herself in developing practical approaches to improving the communication skills of those she serves. Since 2012, Emily has had a variety of diverse experiences in the field of speech-language pathology from working in rural Alaska and commuting school-to-school by bush plane to founding two telehealth startups that have helped over 2 million children receive the high quality education and therapy they deserve. Emily has served on the Board of Directors for World Refugee School in Amman, Jordan, and is now the speech-language pathologist at Bayview Elementary in our local Fort Lauderdale community.
